Art is a Need. Own It SLC

Art is a Need.

A Salt Lake City–based creative organization that supports artists, storytellers, and collaborative projects across music, film, and community initiatives. Established in 2019, Own It has been creating spaces where people in Recovery can fully step into their voice and bring meaningful creative work to life.

❋ Shows

We’ll work with you to find the right venue and create the perfect lighting and sound to match the atmosphere you want, with promotion and marketing support available as well.

❋ Record

Book Harvey the Bus for an hour, a podcast session, a song, or a full day. A one-of-a-kind recording experience designed to inspire creativity.

❋ Collaborate

Visit the Artist Hub to explore a curated list of local artists we love.

The Show Must Go On.

We always have a production in the works—reach out to get involved.

❋ Mentor & Muse

Mentor & Muse is the nonprofit branch of Own It SLC, dedicated to supporting artists in recovery through mentorship, community, and creative collaboration. We create spaces where artists can share their stories, develop their craft, and rediscover their voice through art.

Reconnect with your artistic spirit as you escape the noise of everyday life.
