We are stewards of story and sound. These agreements were written to help us stay true to our purpose of supporting the apprenti (short for apprentice)

  • We are here for the art

  • We are artists first

  • To come with a holy yes to new ideas 

  • To be curious

  • To leave past creations in the past 

  • To use our own quotes. Songs. Art. Composition. etc.

  • Retreat is generative. Editing comes later. 

  • To trust one another’s competency and specific contribution. 

  • Family dinner is vital.

As Mentors we agree…

  • The apprenti are always invited to join our process

  • We are suggestionists, not therapists

  • We are here in service of the song.

As Apprenti we agree…

  • To try new things, voices, mediums etc.

  • To be responsible for our influence within the group.

  • To participate when we are scared.

By some gnosis we arrived ~ Arms full of instruments ~ To make ourselves known ~ To articulate a oneness ~That broke into bits ~ Just for this ~ Very experience ~ Of putting itself back together again.
